Events Description
The spotlight this year is access and inclusion, whether that be digital, physical, or workforce. This year, West Tech Assemblage attendees will hear from five individuals with a disability, who will share their insight and experiences. These talented people offer diversity in thought and ideas – providing innovative work contributions.
The event will also showcase work being undertaken with National Disability Services to transition their access and inclusion programs ACROD Parking and Companion Card to an online environment.
Since 2015, WTA has established itself as an annual event in the WA tech industry calendar, bringing together Perth’s brightest minds and enabling them to build valuable connections, to discover opportunities for synergy and collaboration across industries, and to lead and drive innovation for Perth and Western Australia more broadly.
Techlearn is one of the silver sponsors of the event this year and believes in the founding principle behind West Tech Assemblage (WTA) when it made its debut in 2015, the era of then Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull’s ‘Ideas Boom’. There was a need to break down the silos in Perth and create a space where entrepreneurs, scientists, students, universities, and businesses from all industries could gather to connect and share, nourish and grow their ideas.
